Job Description

As the lead of Business/Ecosystem Development at Polkaswap Community Collective (PoCoCo) your understanding of cryptocurrency will be integral. You are primarily responsible for bringing in new business, integration and partnerships to Polkaswap while supporting the growth of ecosystem projects. You will need to be able to liaise with well-known projects, coordinate collaborations and set up a grants program. Extracting key opportunities and capturing the value through meticulously thought plans. Management of the information channels between core team members and potential relationships that you are forming. This is a full-time international position, that although working for different time zones, will need prompt messaging and the ability to attend meetings at odd hours.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute the partnership strategies
• Execute tactics that will support Polkaswap and Sora ecosystem's growth
• Own all elements of the partnership life cycle: scoping of opportunities, identifying potential partners, framing of value, negotiating agreements, implementation and optimization in collaboration with various parties in the crypto space including the core team at Sora/Pswap, PoCoCo and other community contributors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with valued members of Sora/Pswap
• Implement potential integrations with partners including projects building in Sora/Pswap, substrate, greater DeFi community, exchanges, wallets, aggregators and more
• Identify and help facilitate exchange listings
• Design, implement and own the grants program at PoCoCo with a focus on education, tooling, and infrastructure:
  • Identify valuable projects to fund
  • Identify areas of funding needed and direct the community’s effort
  • Build out grants pipeline and selection criteria
  • Provide ongoing support for grant recipients
  • Build relationships with community projects, provide guidance and direction to them when needed
• Be a coordinator of projects and making sure they are assisted

Required Skills

Must have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the blockchain industry
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Development/Partnerships/Growth role
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written
• Passionate about DeFi, Sora/Polkaswap and the greater Polkadot ecosystem
